Conversion Rate (CR)

Conversion rate is the percentage of visitors who complete a target action. Typically purchase, signup, or lead form submission.

E-commerce CR benchmarks: 1–2% is average, 3–5% is good, above 5% is excellent. Mobile CR is typically 60–70% of desktop CR.

Cart-to-checkout CR is usually 30–50%; checkout-to-paid is 50–70%. Most leakage happens between the two. Which is exactly where voice recovery agents intercept.

Lifting CR is one of three growth levers (traffic, CR, AOV). A 0.5 percentage-point lift on 1% CR is a 50% revenue lift at the same traffic.
