Why the dropoff is so steep
A buyer who fills out a demo form is in a buying moment. They've decided to look at options, they've isolated time, their boss is asking what tool to buy. That moment lasts minutes, not hours.
At 30 minutes their phone rang, they switched tabs, their boss asked them something else. By hour 24 they've researched two competitors and the original problem feels less urgent. By day 3 they've forgotten which vendor they liked.
Why human SDR teams can't fix this
Three reasons human teams fail at sub-5-minute response, even when they know it matters:
- Coverage gaps. No SDR is at their desk at 11pm Singapore time, 6am NY, weekends, holidays
